It is not now, O Atula..! It has always been done from ancient times.
They blame one, who is silent, they blame one, who speaks much,
and they blame one who speaks little.
There is no one in this world who is not blamed.
အတုလေရ.. စကားမေျပာ၊ မ်ားမ်ားေျပာႏွင့္၊ နည္းငယ္ေျပာသူ၊ မည္သူတီးမွ၊ ကဲ့ရဲ႕ခ်ီးမြမ္း၊ ထုိႏွစ္လမ္းမွ၊ ကင္းလြတ္သသူ၊ ဤေလာက၀ယ္၊ ယေန႔တုိင္ထိ၊ မရွိခဲ့ဘူး၊ ေရွးဦးကာလ၊ မဆြကပင္၊ ရွိၿပီတကား..။
There never has been, there never will be,
nor is there now, anyone who is always blamed or always praised.
အၾကင္သူကုိ၊ ျမင့္မုိရ္ဧကန္၊ ခ်ီးပလုိ႔၏၊ တစ္ေယာက္သူ႔ကုိ၊ ဧကန္ဆန္႔က်င္၊ ကဲ့ရဲ႕ျပန္၏။ ကဲ့ရဲ႕ခ်ီးမြမ္း၊ မလြတ္တမ္းမုိ႔၊ ထုိလမ္းလြတ္သူ၊ ထုံးတမ္းေရွးမွာ၊ ေနာင္ခါတစ္ဖန္၊ ပစၥဳပၸန္ထိ၊ မရွိတစ္ေယာက္၊ မုိးေျမေအာက္တည္း..။
If the wise praise him day after day, knowing him to be truly faultless,
wise and endowed with knowledge and virtue, who would blame him?
who is like a Nikkha of pure gold?
The devas praised him; he is praised even by the great Brahma.
Note; A Nikkha can be a weight-unit of gold, an ornament or a coin.
