ဤမည္သူကား၊ ငါ့အားဆဲေရး၊ ႏွိပ္စက္ေသး၏၊ ဤထက္မ်က္သုိ၊ ႏုိင္လုိမင္းထက္၊ စည္းစိမ္ပ်က္ေအာင္၊ လုယက္ယူငင္၊ အသင္လူသား၊ ယုတ္လွတကား-ဟု၊ ရန္ၿငိဳးထားလွ်င္၊ ဘယ္ခါရန္ၿငိဳး၊ မေျပမုိးေျမ၊ ၿငိမ္းၿငိမ္း၏တည္း။

Hatred is, indeed, never appeased by hatred in this world.
It is appeased only by loving-kindness.
လူ႕ျပည္ထုိထုိ၊ ရန္ကုိရန္ျခင္း၊ တုံ႔ျပန္ရွင္းက၊ ကာလဘယ္မွာ၊ ၿငိမ္းပါမည္နည္း။ ေလာကတံထြာ၊ ဓမၼတာကား၊ ရန္ကုိတား၍၊ ရန္အားရန္ျခင္း၊ မတုံ႔လွ်င္းမွ၊ ၿငိမ္းေအးစြာ-ဟု၊ ဗုဒၶျမတ္စြာ၊ ေဟာထြက္လာသတည္း။
People, other than the wise, do not realize, “We, in this world, must all die.”
(and not realizing it continue their quarrels).
The wise realize it and thereby their quarrels cease.
